Miriam Somerville

Miriam Somerville enjoys working at Millburn as a cognitive behavioural therapist. She believes that a strong and positive partnership between client and therapist is an essential part of helping people to recover from their difficulties. So she loves to create a warm and open relationship where problems can be talked about without judgement or embarrassment. Before coming to Millburn, Miriam worked in health and social care for and retains a special interest in working with people who have communication difficulties, mental health problems or learning disabilities.

Sarah Conn

Dr Sarah Conn is a BACP accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, supervisor and couples therapist with a humanistic/person-centred approach. She believes in creating conditions of warmth, respect and empathy to help clients address difficult and sensitive issues in confidence and without fear of judgement. She feels it is a privilege to be alongside clients in times of distress to support them to make sense of conflicted confusing emotions, to help them regain clarity and ultimately support them to make changes that will improve their quality of life. Having worked for nearly twenty years in Higher education with students and staff, she has a particular expertise in the developmental challenges of young adulthood but more broadly has experience and training in a range of issues across the life spectrum including couples therapy.

I help people get rid of their aches and pains using the McTimoney technique and I am also qualified in a number of other therapies that all work towards helping you feel better. McTimoney is very gentle and uses accurate adjustments that ensure you experience maximum comfort. It is also a whole body approach so treatments usually take around 45 minutes and my customers agree that it is relaxing and very beneficial. They also like that there are no x-rays and no painful crunching or cracking involved, just gentle adjustments that help you get better quickly.

Diana Dihmis is a consultant nutritionist and as a graduate in nutrition and dietetics, she has enjoyed working in the field of clinical nutrition for nearly 30 years. She is a registered member of the Association for Nutrition and a senior associate of the Royal Society of Medicine. She believes that every person is different due to genetics and environment and treats each person using evidence based, practical and easy to follow dietary plans to alleviate symptoms or optimise nutrition, health and wellbeing.

Emma Kane

Emma Kane has been the resident Reflexologist at Millburn since March 2012 and she is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. She is extremely passionate about reflexology and holds a particular interest in fertility and maternity care. Emma enjoys helping people to feel better by focusing on the emotional as well as the physical health thereby treating the person as a whole.
