What is reflexology?

Reflexology can appear to be a simple massage of your feet. However in reality, it is a powerful, yet respectful and non-invasive method to regain balance and well- being of the body and mind.

There are reflex points in the feet and hands that correlate to every organ and gland in the body. Stimulation of these points encourages body and mind to work more efficiently.

What does reflexology do?

Our bodies are intrinsic complex structures which under normal circumstances should be able to heal themselves. Stressful conditions of today’s society leave our bodies so tense that they cannot function correctly, so manifest in all sorts of disorders and disease. Reflexology reverses the effects of stress and is suitable for all ages from the very young to the very old. The effects of reflexology can be immediate.

Re-balancing with reflexology

Emma maintains that; "We each have an inner doctor and stimulation of the reflex points in the feet can promote self -healing by encouraging all our organs and glands to work more efficiently. Reflexology allows the body to balance itself and regular treatment helps the individual to maintain health and well -being."

She says: "75% of illness is stress related. Reflexology can reverse the effects of stress and is very useful in preventative healthcare. In addition the caring touch of someone listening intently to you and your body can have an immediate effect."
